Mobile Account Manager (San Diego)

3Q San Diego is seeking a self-motivated Mobile Account Manager to join our rapidly expanding mobile team in San Diego. Ideal candidate will have had successful account management experience buying mobile app install campaigns across mobile ad networks, DSPs, Facebook, Google and Apple. They will come from either the ad network/agency side, or user acquisition role on the client side.

We are looking for a highly accountable and detail-oriented individual with stellar communication skills as they will be entrusted with the mobile strategy for Silicon Valley’s finest companies.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead mobile app marketing strategy for 3Q mobile clients
  • Build mobile campaign roadmaps, ideate with client and 3Q account teams on how to reach client goals
  • Work closely with mobile advertising vendors, 3Q mobile team, 3Q account teams, and clients to keep mobile campaigns hitting their KPIs
  • Continue to grow the marketing program from launch, to mature phases
  • Operate as the mobile expert on a mobile account, being able to advise clients on many facets of mobile app marketing strategies and tactics
  • Monitor daily performance metrics and campaign pacing, identify irregularities or poor performance and communicate optimization recommendations to internal team, vendors, and clients
  • Campaign set-up - create tracking links, build and communicate campaign structure, pacing, benchmarks and objectives
  • Troubleshooting across attribution vendors and advertising platforms, researching discrepancies and ensuring all necessary parameters and attributes are being properly tracked

Ideal Candidate

  • Has a bachelor's degree
  • 2-4 years experience building media plans, specifically, in the mobile app space either on the media buying or client/UA side
  • Good pulse on mobile app industry and trends
  • Solid understanding of mobile app business models, platforms and app stores
  • Solid understanding of mobile KPIs, mobile media buying tactics and strategies
  • Strong analytical thinker - considers all details & angles of a situation
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to excel while juggling many tasks at once
  • Ability to clearly communicate & present strategies, results, and metrics to internal teams and clients
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills - ability to collaborate & work autonomously
  • Self-starter mentality; comfortable with setting goals and achieving them.
  • Computer-savvy, quick learner, and online problem-solver. Can easily figure out new technologies online.
  • Innovative thinker and collaborative team player
