Paid Social Media Account Manager (San Diego, CA)

The Paid Social Media Account Manager serves as the strategic leader on paid social advertising campaigns including planning, campaign structure and scale, client presentations, advanced analyses. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in developing and managing sophisticated paid social media campaigns that meet and/or exceed a client’s business objectives.

Essential Functions

  • Partner with account leads to ensure social media plans, goals, and objectives are aligned, optimized, and integrated.
  • Build a variety of large scale performance-focused social media campaigns from conception to creative to execution to analytics.
  • Work to optimize and scale performance-driven social media campaigns across social platforms.
  • Develop social media strategies and detailed testing roadmaps to support and achieve the client’s business objectives.
  • Mentor and/or manage junior team members on overall social account management, strategy, optimization, reporting, etc.
  • Able to manage multiple large sized clients autonomously.
  • Able to audit social campaigns and present findings to existing clients.
  • Work with upper management to present to potential clients.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

  • 2+ years of social media marketing & account management experience
  • Has managed multiple Facebook accounts that spends a significant budget (at least $100k a month)
  • Has managed or mentored others
  • Extensive experience managing towards a variety performance-driven KPIs on social media including leads, conversions, app installs, etc.
  • Advanced knowledge of social media advertising platforms and analytics suites (Facebook Power Editor, Nanigans, Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Has worked across several verticals.
  • Has managed campaigns on Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin, Pinterest
  • Strong, professional verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent writing and strategic content creation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Exceptional time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects and ongoing work items; while effectively managing changing priorities and time management.
  • Ability to identify and lead strategy for new opportunities and platforms on social media to drive incremental ROI for clients
  • Innovative and proactive, collaborative team player, and strong communicator.
